Here it comes...

Next Monday is the day.  Bella starts kindergarten at her new school here in Texas! She is soooo excited!  Me...well, I feel torn.  I have no doubt that she will thrive and love learning.  She is so social.  I am just having a hard time because for the first time in her life someone else will be influencing her 35 hours a week!  Up until now, I knew everytime she sneezed, or cried or was happy about something.  From now on, I'll only get bits and pieces. :-(  

Some of these things I know and love about Bella are....

She has always needed time to "veg" when she gets up in the morning before eating breakfast.

She LOVES going places ...swimming, Target, friends houses, the gym...doesn't matter where, she just wants to go!

She loves her brothers so much and most of the time is a very sweet big sister!

Art is this girl's THING!!  She loves all things art!


She is a problem solver.  If something doesn't work right or fit right....she will find a way to make it work.  Thus the idea of a triple stroller was born!!

She can play with her imaginary "sisters" Sarah, Simalah and Kimalah for hours!  She has also had one imaginary brother named "Willer Kilson"  He's 10.   :-)

She's had three blankie's in her life...the first was the ugliest receiving blanket you could imagine....we lost it in Stonebriar Mall when she was 9 months old. (Thank God!)  Then she felt in love with a cute polka dot receiving blanket, but that was in pieces by the time she turned 4.  I finally talked her into picking out a new one and we went shopping for it together and bought another polka dot one with purple trim!  Hopefully this is our last one.

She sucked her thumb from the time she was a baby until she was almost 5.  Now she just "smells" her blankie while she goes to sleep.. (Her words  :-)

She talks in her sleep and dreams about the craziest things!

She wants to be a Chick-Fil-A helper when she grows up.



She doesn't like meat...but will eat pizza like a grown man!

She likes her toenails and fingernails painted with matching colors.

She loves to talk and when you ask her what she wants to talk about she responds with an actual random topic such as...."Let's talk about spring." or "Let's talk about zoo animals."   Basically....let's just talk about ANYTHING!  :-)

She loves people and is very empathetic towards them...I love this about her!

She lost her first tooth 2 weeks before she turned 5 and just lost her 6th tooth a couple of months ago.....pretty much toothless at this point!

I know that school is just part of the growing up process and I AM so proud of the precious little girl she has become!   So ready or not kindergarten, here comes Bella!
