I am not someone who enjoys wearing a bathing suit in public. I can't remember ever feeling great about wearing a bathing suit, but you finally reach an age in life where you just don't really care. Oh and the fact that when you have 3 kids ages 5 and under you don't really have an option to NOT get in the pool. :-) So this summer I found a bathing suit I thought was "okay". Since we go to our pool and the rec center water park just about everyday I've gotten used to wearing it often, but still never LOVE it.
We were at the rec center the otherday and my sweet little blue eyed boy, Will came up to me and tugged on the bottom of my bathing suit. He said "I have to tell you a swecret, Mommy!" So I leaned down and he whispered (very loudly) "You look like Tinkerbell today." I looked down and thought "how in the world does he think I look like Tinkerbell" and lo and behold... I guess my halter bathing suit top and swim suit skirt look somewhat similiar to Tinkerbell's costume......in the eyes of a child. My child! :-) Gotta love being a tinker fairy! I felt pretty good about myself that day!
